Partners & Producers from Asia: Your access to the Swiss market
Eastern Essence Trading is your structured access to the Swiss market – without folklore, without compromise.
Why work with EET?
Your culture is not used as decoration
We do not market origin as a backdrop. Product stories, production methods and the context behind your range stay visible in our communication – towards trade partners and end consumers alike.
You remain visible as a producer
Your name, your region, your story: that is part of the offer. EET does not carry anonymous ranges. Every product in our portfolio is associated with the producer behind it.
Structure builds trust
Clear processes, sound contracts, transparent communication. For producers from Asia who do not yet know the Swiss market, that is not a given – for us it is.
Not a mass market
Not every product is right for us – and that is intentional. Our portfolio stays manageable so that every product gets the attention it deserves. That is our promise to our producers.
Structured import processes
Customs clearance, import licences, storage, quality assurance: we know the requirements of the Swiss market and take on the import logistics. For you that means a reliable channel without bureaucratic uncertainty.

The bridge was built over the Honmyō in 1839, survived the flood disaster of 1957 and was afterwards moved to the park. Kinokawa dates its founding to the same year.
Our selection process
We do not choose every product.
That is not an obstacle – it is a promise.
When we take a product into our portfolio, it means we stand behind it.
Our evaluation criteria
- Product quality and craftsmanship
- Cultural authenticity
- Production capacity and supply chain stability
- Willingness to build a long-term partnership
We assess carefully. When it fits, we work with commitment and stand by it.
